Everyone in the Galaxy Expedition Team is expected to pull their weight and contribute to the community in some way. How your character does that is dependent on who they are and what they can do. When your character first arrives, they will be asked about their skills and talents, and sorted into a Corps that fits them. You, the player, can pick which one you feel fits the best!
Your fellow Corps members will become your team, your family here in Hisui. Some events may even focus on a specific Corps and the troubles they face - although all player characters will have an opportunity to participate in every event!
Survey
The team tasked with exploring Hisui and researching the pokémon that live there. They are expected to face heavy resistance from wild pokémon if they engage in fieldwork, which most of them do, but less physically able characters can find work parsing and sorting the data retrieved by forward scouts and field researchers.
Security
The team tasked with keeping Jubilife Village and its residents safe from all threats, including wild pokémon and dangerous drop-ins from other worlds. It can be a tough job, especially when escorting other members of the Galaxy Expedition Team to distant parts of Hisui.
Construction
The team in charge of expanding and upgrading facilities through Jubilife Village, as well as establishing base camps across the Hisui region. Expansion projects focus mostly on housing for offworlders and upgrades to existing facilities, but special commissions may be made to improve homes, build new facilities, or set up new basecamps.
Medical
The team in charge of making and administering medicine to the wounded and ill. They rely on handcrafted medicine made from local resources, working closely with the Supply Corps to ensure they don't run low. Offworlders with healing capabilities are often encouraged to work with the Medical Corps by Captain Kamado.
Supply
The team tasked with supplying the people of Jubilife Village, in charge of acquiring goods and materials for the village's needs. This has been expanded to include any citizen or offworlder who has gained clearance to run a shop or provide a service outside of the existing facilities and Corps.
Agriculture
The team tasked with maintaining the farmlands and providing crop harvests for the village. The fields of Jubilife seem to double the growth speed of anything planted in them, allowing more crops to be put out in small periods of time. This does, however, mean that work on harvesting and planting is near constant.
Civilian
If your character is too young or not physically able to contribute to any other Corps, they may stay as a Civilian in Jubilife on the condition that they help with odd jobs and try to contribute in some way.
