1. Treat others with kindness and respect. Be kind, be respectful, be honest. If you would not want someone to treat you a certain way, don't treat others that way. We're all here to have fun at the end of the day.
2. Communicate. If you have a problem with another player, speak up. Tell them you're uncomfortable, or tell a mod via PM that you're uncomfortable. Be forward about your limits with others. Read permissions posts and ask for clarification if you need it. If nobody admits there is an issue, nothing can be done about it.
3. Don't godmod/powermod! Respect permissions posts regarding powers, injuries, and IC as well as OOC boundaries, and only control your character in any given scene.
4. Keep smut strictly off-comms. Smut posts will not count towards Participation Points for the game. This game's rating is PG-13 on comms, and what you do off comms is between you and the other players involved.
5. IC DOES NOT EQUAL OOC. And vice versa. Just because a character hates your character, it does not automatically mean the player hates them or you. If you have an OOC problem with another player, do not use your character as a mouthpiece to harass them.
6. Use appropriate content warnings (CWs). For sensitive subjects, use appropriate content warnings. People are bound to get hurt with rats that fling electricity from their faces on the loose - but make sure you tell people what they're in for before you describe the injuries.
7. We require your character journal to have an accessible Opt-Out post. This is something that protects players from potential conflict and harm, especially on CW heavy characters. We may require certain characters to have a section of this post dedicated to opting into powers that affect others.
